Description

This was the feature course for the 2023 Discmania Open, the first ever Canadian Disc Golf Pro Tour stop.  This incredibly picturesque course is a former working farm and current site for Barnone Brewery.  This course blends long open drives with both mixed and heavily wooded holes to create a full and demanding disc golf experience.  The ‘blue’ layout is among the hardest disc golf layouts in Canada.  Rose Valley DiscGolfPark does have something for everyone as the ‘Red’ layout is perfect for your regular competitive players and the ‘Red Rose’ layout is the shortest version that is great for new players or people who are looking to hone parts of their game.

There are so many iconic holes on this course that you can see why the pros loved the challenging aspect of what Rose Valley has to offer.  Although the hills are beautiful for the vistas they offer they are physically demanding and players might want to pack a lunch or plan on stopping at the brewery to recharge if they wish to play more than one round in a day.  Forest enthusiasts will note there are at least 9 different tree species present on the course including mature maple, white and yellow birch, hemlock, pine, spruce, larch, ash, and fir.  Two small streams run through the property and there are lots of benches set up for players to rest in the shade. This is one of Flicklines signature courses and one of the most beautiful places in inland PEI.  It’s worth the stop every time.
