Description

NOTE! Puijo DiscGolf will be put on winter rolls on Saturday, October 24, 2020, starting at 11:00. Next time it is possible to play again in the spring, at a time to be announced, as long as the snow has first melted and the soil has dried sufficiently.

The course is located around the former Puijo golf course and the Antikkala ski slope. The varied terrain offers truly varied conditions for practicing disc golf with its wide open fairways and narrow forest slopes. Large elevation differences also bring versatility to the course’s bus selection. The course is only intended for summer use, because in the winter season the lawn area is part of Puijo’s lively trail network. Similarly, the course reaching the side of the Antikkala ski slope will be demolished for the winter. In the spring, the course is only opened when the soil of the lawns is dry enough to withstand the strain of movement. The starting point is upstairs on Puijo on Antikkalantie near the parking lots, next to the course maintenance building. Alternatively, you can also take the tour from the lower part of the Antikkala ski slope on bus 13, near which you can find a bus stop on the adjacent Kallantie. This is also a worthwhile option for those who travel on the farm. The course is maintained by the local club Deep In The Forest together with the city of Kuopio.
