Course Information

Location: United States, Savannah, GA Established: 2021 Course Designer: Henry Hamilton Course Type : Free-to-play Holes: 9

Description

Georgia Southern University DiscGolfPark (Armstrong campus) offers a 9-hole disc golf course with a little extra. Each hole offers two, concrete tee pads with some holes having separate transitions. This creates the illusion of playing 18 holes, on a 9-hole course. The option to play short or longs provides different lines and skill levels of play. The disc golf course navigates the woods around the intramural field which is flat and friendly to all ages. The short tee pads offer a balanced combination of shots for all levels of players to enjoy; whether you are new to disc golf or a seasoned vet. The longs will test a player’s skills a little more while still offering the ability to enjoy your disc golf experience on campus.

The course is complimented with dominant trees, Spanish moss, and wildlife you would not expect to see in the heart of Savannah. The course is open to the public but without a campus permit, you must park in the large “P1” parking lot, so you do not receive a campus parking citation.
