Cara Hovius

Cara Hovius co-founded ChainLink Disc Golf with the goal to become more deeply engaged in the sport of disc golf.   She has aspirations to continue sharing her love of disc golf with everyone of all ages, including women, families and students.  Her focus is on growing and supporting the disc golf community at all the courses they build, both through events, and through long-term, sustainable partnerships.  Cara is a PDGA Certified Tournament Official and has helped organize and run countless events across Ontario with plans to run many more!

Cara is an MBTI® Certified Practitioner and is a regular volunteer with the Ashbridge’s Bay Nature Conservancy.  As an outdoor enthusiast, she also enjoys visiting local and national parks, hiking and exploring sites lesser known.
