The course has been through a couple of chances for the new season. Among the improvements are: three basket positions at all holes, a new driving field tee (similar the course tees, but much bigger) a new pro tee on hole 6 (will be ready in June), a better, more well defined In Bounds line on hole 3 (will be ready in May) plus a lot of maintenance job through out the 27 hole course.
Hours: The course is open for play from 10 AM to sun set. The restaurant is open to 10 PM daily.

July 12-13 will Stockholm Discgolf Open be played at Järva Discgolf Park. The best players from the world will participate, including the legend, the 12 time world champion Ken Climo.
The 29th Stockholm Discgolf Open will be played August 11-12 at Järva Discgolf Park. The tournament will be played on the new 27 hole course that will be opened this summer.

Villa
Albastro is the name of the house that was completed during this summer. This
is the first service building in the world constructed at a discgolf course.
The house can be compared to a clubhouse at a ball golf course. This house however
is built and financed by the company Järva Discgolf Park, that runs the
course. The club Järva Disc Golf Club and its members can use the house
and its services, as all the other players and other visitors at the course.
The house will be open in the weekends during the winter and will open on weekdays
again in March.
The construction of the new building at Järva Discgolf Park has now started.
According to the plans the building will be finished in April 2005. The house
will be 1700 square feet and will have café, restaurant, shop, restrooms
etc. Cool days the visitors can relax at the fireplace.
The house will have a spacious atmosphere with some parts with a ceiling height of 4 meters. Apart from the seats indoors, plenty of seats will be available outdoors on the 1000 square feet big terrace that surrounds the house.
The planning of the house has been going on for a while and the building permit was granted one year ago. However the leasehold right and the financing have taken some time.
This will be the first service building in the world that is built at a discgolf course. Not even in the USA there is something similar, but a similar building will be constructed at the PDGA National Center in 2005 or 2006.
Except the house and the terrace will the ground be rebuilt around the house. For example will the tee area for the driving field will be moved 20 meter to the north.

During
august 2001 did Järva Discgolf Park lend one practise basket and some discgolf
equipment to an advertising agency that took pictures to a Volvo commercial. The
ad was a part of an ad campaign for "Volvo V70 the sports car. The double-page
ad has appeared in at least six large magazines including Café, a glossy
magazine directed towards men; Åka Skidor, a skiing magazine; Vi Föräldrar,
a magazine for parents with small children; Privata Affärer, a business magazine;
IKEA family magazine, a magazine from the big furniture store IKEA; and Utemagasinet,
an outdoor/adventure sports magazine. This was the first time that discgolf was
part of an advertising campaign in Sweden.
